Munchkin Party Night Contest Results!

Back in May, we announced a Munchkin Party Night Contest, in which one randomly selected entry would receive a Big Pile O' Munchkiny Goodness for himself and a somewhat nebulously specified "Munchkin Party Night" for his Friendly Local Game Store.

We collected all the entries in a super-secret triple-locked safe, disguised as a common intraoffice mailbox. Last week, we threw 'em all in the +3 Vault Of Totally Random Selection -- disguised as a cardboard box liberated from the warehouse -- and drew a winner.

And then we decided to draw another.

The first person drawn submitted a receipt from a Friendly Local Game Store frequented by several of the folks here at Munchkin Central. It wasn't fair to disqualify the entry just because we know and like the guys at his store, but we also wanted to avoid any appearance of impropriety. So we drew a second name, officially designated the Runner-Up, who will ALSO get the Big Pile O' Munchkiny Goodness and a Munchkin Party Night for his FLGS.

Our Official Contest Winner, recipient of one copy of everything published for Munchkin and Munchkin Quest throughout the rest of 2010, is Carl Lohn, from Kyle, Texas. His Friendly Local Game Store, site of the Official Munchkin Party Night, is Tribe Comics & Games, here in Austin.

Our Official Contest Runner-Up, recipient of another copy of everything published for Munchkin and Munchkin Quest throughout the rest of 2010, is Dan Laing, from Chesterfield, Virginia. His Friendly Local Game Store, site of the Other Official Munchkin Party Night, is Richmond Comix, in Midlothian, Virginia.

Congratulations to both winners and to both winning stores -- we'll be in touch to set up your Party Nights! (We'll post the details as soon as we nail them down.)
